PSL 2026

Pakistan Super League 2026 also known as (HBL PSL 11) begins a “New Era” for the tournament as it expands to an eight-franchises format for the first time. The PSL 11 is scheduled to run from March 26 to May 3, 2026 consisting of 44 T20 matches.

The 11th edition introduces two new franchises: the Hyderabad Kingsmen and the Sialkot Stallions (later rebranded back to Multan Sultans following a resale), bringing the total to eight teams. A record-breaking domestic media rights deal worth PKR 26.11 billion was secured for the 2026–2029 cycle. The tournament will be played across six cities, including debuts for Faisalabad and a long-awaited return to Peshawar.

Tournament Format

  • Group Stage: Teams are divided into two groups of four. Each team plays opponents in its own group twice and teams from the other group once, totaling 10 matches per team.
  • Playoffs: The top four teams in the overall standings qualify for the playoffs (Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2, and Final).
  • Reserve Day: A reserve day has been allotted for the final on May 4, 2026.
